Taken from last nights session but with a TeleVue PowerMate x 2.5 magnifying Barlow lens. This is the junction of 3 lunar mountain ranges in the Northern highlands.
Apollo 15 landed at the yellow X – at Hadley rille, just clipping the mountains to get there.
Linne crater is number 82 in the lunar 100 and the Alpine valley (L19) points back to the Imbrium basin and is probably a rift caused by that impact.
